About us

We were founded in 1983, but our products didn’t begin selling in stores until 1989. The concept was originally created by Chris Riggs in 1983 for his daughter, Kate. Using a simple makeup compact, he designed a small house for a tiny doll—an idea that would later grow into something much bigger.

Bluebird Toys eventually licensed the product, which led to its official retail launch in 1989.

Our toys are centered around creativity and portability. Each playset is designed as a plastic case that opens up into a dollhouse or themed environment for Polly dolls. The cases fold neatly in half and feature circular bases with slots inside, allowing the dolls to securely stand in different areas of the playset.

These compact designs make the toys easy to carry while also offering interactive features, such as movable elements within the case that enhance play and storytelling.
